My phone almost ran out of storage space, so I’m thinking about removing the app cache; how to?
App caches on iPhone take up a large amount of the storage. Unfortunately, there are no direct or official ways to get rid of them. But you still have some workarounds to remove them. To clear cache cookies on iPhone, you might check the following tips.
Uninstalling apps will remove the associated user data, documents, settings, as well as any cached files. You may have heard that offloading deletes app cache, but it does not. So, the fastest way is to uninstall and then reinstall.
Long-press the app.
Click Remove App > choose Delete App > choose Delete again.
Go to App Store > search the app you removed, or click your avatar > Apps > Not on this iPhone > reinstall.
Inbuilt app cache usually does not take up much space in your storage, so it is recommended to remove the cache 1 by 1. For example, you may clear Safari cache.
Go to Settings > scroll down and find Apps.
Find Safari > Advanced > Website Data.
Click Remove All Website Data.
This is how to clear cache on iPhone applications, for saving phone storage. But do you know that app cache might also leak your data and info? Especially when your phone is stolen or gets infected by malware, the data leakage risk rises.
